Three hurt in Randolph County crash

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three people were hurt – one seriously – in a one-vehicle crash Friday in Randolph County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred as a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer – driven by Rachelle Tolson-Galbreath, 56, of Macon – was heading northbound on Highway 63 and went off the left side of the roadway, about two miles north of Cairo. The vehicle hit a culvert and overturned, the report states.

Tolson-Galbreath suffered serious injuries and was brought to University Hospital by ambulance, according to the report. A passenger – Tommy Tolson, 59, of Macon – suffered moderate injuries and was also brought to University Hospital by ambulance.

Another passenger – Elmer Phillips, 61, of Macon – had minor injuries and went to University Hospital by private conveyance, the report states.

The driver and both passengers were wearing seatbelts and the Chevrolet was totaled, the report states.
