COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police officers shut down a roundabout on Mexico Gravel Road after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

An ABC 17 News crew said at least three police department vehicles were at the scene around 6:45 a.m.

A message sent out from Boone County Joint Communications said "bridges, overpasses and roundabouts are slick this morning creating a traffic hazard."

It's unclear if weather played a role in the wreck or if anyone was hurt.

On Monday, icy conditions led to a five-vehicle crash in northern Boone County.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Team reported a freezing drizzle coming down in Columbia early Tuesday, but it will transition to rain in the afternoon.
