Tracking dry weather ahead of slim rain chances

TODAY: Wednesday is another warm and dry day. Highs are forecast in the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies.

TONIGHT: Skies remain mostly clear overnight, as temperatures cool into the 60s through the evening and into the 50s by sunrise.

EXTENDED: Mostly dry conditions are again expected on Thursday. A few showers or light sprinkles may come north of HWY 24, but otherwise dry weather is forecast. On Friday, light showers may fall in the far north in the morning, but otherwise dry weather is forecast until at the earliest Friday night, when only a few showers are possible. Rain remains possible on Halloween; however, coverage is questionable Saturday evening, and any rain that falls is expected to be light. It won't be a washout, but rain showers could be a nuisance on Saturday evening. Spotty showers may again be possible on Sunday, but more widespread rain appears more likely early next week. Highs remain forecast mostly in the 70s through the weekend, with a high near 80 on Thursday.
