Wisconsin man killed in Moniteau County crash

MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Wisconsin man died in a crash that occurred Tuesday evening in Moniteau County at the intersection of Highway 50 and Route E, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the report, the crash occurred as a 2011 Dodge Caravan was heading north and a 2014 Ford F150 was heading east. The Dodge – driven by Michael Burk, 66, of Janesville, Wisconsin – travelled off Route E and into the path of the Ford, which was driven by Heather Beauchamp, 34, of Tipton, the report states.

Burk was pronounced dead at the scene by the deputy coroner, the report states. He was not wearing a seatbelt. He was brought to Windmill Ridge Funeral Home.

Beauchamp had serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital, the report says. She was wearing a seatbelt. An MU Health Care spokesperson wrote in an email that Beauchamp was in fair condition on Wednesday afternoon.
