Two people seriously injured after UTV crash near Audrain County line

Two people are seriously injured after an UTV crash in the 20000 block of Rangeline Road near the Audrain/Boone County line according to a Missouri State Highway Patrolman on scene.

An ABC 17 News reporter on scene saw a large UTV flipped on its side and two Boone County Sheriff Deputy vehicles and one Missouri State Highway Patrol vehicle.

One Boone County Sheriff's deputy and a Highway patrolman were seen investigating the scene, looking at tire tracks and searching the flipped UTV.

According to a Boone County Joint Communications notification sent early Tuesday morning, part of the 20000 block of Rangeline Road near the Columbia Regional Airport is closed for a crash.

Just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Boone County Joint Communications sent out an alert stating, "20201-Blk N Rangeline Rd closed due to motor vehicle collision. Choose alternate route."

About an hour earlier, Joint Communications sent an alert about the crash, asking drivers to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
