COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMZI)

The University of Missouri is adjusting parking for students, faculty an staff ahead of Mizzou football home opener Thursday night.

The university told students, faculty and staff who park on campus and will be there until 3 p.m. that they may be asked to park in locations other than their normally designated parking spots.

Also in order to reduce traffic, the university ask employees who work on campus that do not teach classes to work remotely for the day.

For game day parking, Lot R by Truman's Landing and PS7 off Hospital Drive and Monk Drive will not be available areas to park for Thursday's game. Lot M-ADA is $40 and parking garages will be free for parking.
