Hy-Vee turkey gravy recalled after being mislabeled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Hy-Vee's turkey gravy is actually beef gravy, so the manufacturer is recalling it.

The supermarket chain said in a news release Wednesday that Seneca Foods is recalling Hy-Vee turkey gravy in glass jars "that actually contain beef gravy."

The beef gravy could contain a soy allergen, which isn't listed on the label, Hy-Vee said.

The recall applies to 12-oz. jars with UPC 75450-03608 and a lot code of A3CG162M A3CG192M on their lids. Those who return gravy will receive a refund.
