Two seriously injured in Miller County crash Saturday evening

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two women were seriously injured in a crash Saturday evening in Miller County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the report, at 6:21 p.m. the driver of the vehicle Chaunecia Berry, 24 of Waynesville, Mo. was driving in a 2023 Dodge Charger with two passengers on Route C. The report states Berry approached a curve quickly, causing the vehicle to skid.

The vehicle then crossed the middle of the road--went off the left side of the road-- and hit a tree before it became engulfed in flames.

The passengers, Dimonique Swain, 23 of St. Robert, Mo. and Teresa Spence, 29 of St. Louis, Mo. were taken by a Miller County ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

Berry was not injured in the crash.

According to the report, all three women were wearing seatbelts.
