MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Miller County prosecutor has charged an Iberia man accused of sex crimes against two minors.

According to the Miller County Sheriff's Office, deputies began investigating Lucas Ellis, 22, at his home near Iberia on Jan. 24.

Ellis is charged with statutory sodomy and statutory rape from the January investigation.

Ellis' bond is set at $200,00 for those charges. A court hearing is scheduled for him at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies said an investigation that started last month revealed Ellis had sexual contact with two children.

Prosecutors charged Ellis on Thursday with two additional felony counts of sexual misconduct involving a child and enticement or attempted enticement of a child. Ellis was given an additional $50,000 bond for the new charges.

Deputies are holding Ellis at the Miller County Adult Detention Center.
