Raytown woman seriously injured in single-vehicle crash Saturday evening

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Raytown woman was seriously injured in a car crash Saturday evening in Morgan County.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, April Berry, 50 was in the car with two other people driving down Ivy Bend Road at 5 pm. The crash occurred when the driver of the car drove off the right side of the road and over corrected, which led to the car rolling over.

Berry was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The other passenger in the car, Olen Stephens, 57 was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the car's name and injuries are not listed on the report.

Troopers say Berry and Stephens were not wearing seatbelts.
