One woman hurt in three-vehicle crash in Morgan County Saturday evening

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Tipton, Missouri woman was hurt in a three-vehicle crash in Morgan County on Saturday, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred when Catherine Crouch, 76, was driving Westbound on U.S. Route 50 around 5:30 pm, when she came across two vehicles that were stopped on the road. A 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by Suetta Hoover, 62 tried to make a left turn onto the South Fork Lane.

Crouch tried to slow down, but ended up hitting another vehicle, a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Stephanie Funk, 29. As a result of this, Funk hit Hoover.

Crouch was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital with serious injuries.

The other two women were not hurt in the crash.

Crouch's 1998 Ford Taurus was totaled as a result of the crash. According to the report, she was the only one not wearing a seatbelt.
