Lake Ozark motorcyclist dies in Morgan County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Lake Ozark man died Wednesday night after his motorcycle went off the road and hit a tree, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Corey Allen, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday afternoon, the patrol's report says. Troopers aren't sure what time the crash happened.

The report says Allen was driving his Indian Scout motorcycle on Route Y near Brendel Boulevard in the Rocky Mount area. He was thrown from the bike when it hit the tree.

Allen was not wearing a helmet, the report says.
