Patrol: Man thrown from boat at Lake of the Ozarks

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a man was ejected from a boat at the Lake of the Ozarks after it crashed into a wave Sunday afternoon.

The MSHP Troop F crash report said 21-year-old Kahleb Adams, of Columbia, received moderate injuries from the crash.

Troopers said Adams hit a wave in the Gravois Arm of the lake in Morgan County around 1:20 p.m. According to the patrol's report, Adams hit the boat and then was thrown into the river.

Rocky Mount emergency crews responded to the scene, the report said. Troopers said Adams refused treatment.
