Suspicious envelope again found in state offices
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A suspicious envelope was sent to the Missouri Supreme Court building on Tuesday, a state spokesman said.
Firetrucks and police cruisers rushed to the building in downtown Jefferson City late Tuesday afternoon. Missouri Office of Administration spokesman Chris Moreland said law enforcement will test the contents of the envelope.
This is the second time this month that a suspicious envelope has been found at a state office. An envelope was found in the Broadway Building mailroom in the capital city on April 7. Police later determined the substance inside was not toxic.
