Power restored in southern Fulton after outages reported

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The City of Fulton stated on its Facebook page that power has been completely restored to the southern part of Fulton after outages were reported Wednesday night.

A city spokesperson told ABC 17 News in a message that partial power was restored by 7:44 p.m. The notice of full-power restoration was posted at 8:46 p.m.

The city wrote in a comment during the outage that "It seems the south end of town is without power at this time."

Callaway County Emergency Management stated on its Facebook page that the southside of Fulton "within city limits is without power due to a blown transformer at E 1st and Mokane Road. The City of Fulton is currently working on restoring power."
