Lincoln University wraps up Homecoming celebrations Saturday
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Saturday is the last day of homecoming celebrations for Lincoln University.
Every fall, students and alumni return to the hill to appreciate their time at the university. There have been free events all week to celebrate.
Culminating in the big homecoming game today against northeastern state. There's also a concert Saturday night featuring Nardo Wick and Kash Doll.
One alumni said the homecoming celebrations reminds her that Lincoln University is a family.
"You know the energy is amazing. You know they say homecoming but what it really is is a family reunion. It doesn't matter when you graduated, it doesn't matter what organization you're affiliated with, we are a family," she said.
