Police investigating shooting near I-70 and Range Line St. on Monday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police continue to investigate a Monday night shooting that occurred off the 1500 block of Fir Place.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at 9:40 p.m. and found a shooting had occurred but could not find a victim.

According to a release, officers later found out that a man was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police report no suspects have been identified so far.
