Columbia man arrested after he allegedly robs a man in Waffle House parking lot

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police arrested a man after he allegedly robs a man in a Waffle House parking lot Saturday morning.

According to court records, a man got into an argument with his wife while at the Waffle House on Vandiver Dr.

Officials say the man went outside to smoke and then confronted the driver of an SUV cause it appeared to the victim, his wife had gotten into the SUV.

The driver of the SUV, Marcus Glass, then got into a shouting argument with the victim police say. Glass then allegedly stole money and a cellphone after pulling a weapon during the argument according to court records.

The gun used during the argument was stolen out of St. Peters, Missouri according to court documents.

Glass's bond is set at $50,000 cash only .

Glass is charged with robbery, armed criminal action, and receiving stolen property.
