MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men are charged after a fatal motorcycle wreck on May 22, 2021, off Highway 87 near Shepherd Road in Moniteau County.

A Moniteau County prosecutor has charged Ryan Wolfe with DWI - death of another after he rear-ended another vehicle on a motorcycle. The prosecutor has also charged Dillon Snider with leaving the scene of an accident- resulting in death and tampering with physical evidence.

Wolfe was driving the motorcycle that rear-ended Snider's vehicle according to the probable cause statement. According to a witness, Snider allegedly break-checked Wolfe's motorcycle causing the wreck.

The witness said Snider's vehicle then drove off. Investigators collected 23 pieces of Snider's alleged vehicle. A tip was then given to troopers that the vehicle was behind a building in Olean and it was registered to Snider.

Detectives spoke with Snider and he said he was attempting to turn left onto a gravel road when the crash occurred.

Wolfe spoke with investigators in the emergency room. According to the probable cause statement, Wolfe was hesitant to answer questions from investigators but spoke freely and openly with the emergency room staff. The investigator then got a blood sample.

Both men have an initial arraignment scheduled for July 26.

Both men do not have a defense attorney listed, according to online court documents.
