A Columbia man was charged with a pair of felonies after he allegedly assaulted a woman on Sunday.

Christopher Bullock Jr., 21, was charged with first-degree domestic assault and first-degree kidnapping. He is being held at the Boone County Jail without bond. An initial court appearance was held Wednesday afternoon.

According to the probable cause statement, Bullock assaulted the victim several times after she told him to leave the residence. Bullock also refused to let the victim leave and caused the victim to lose consciousness, the statement says. The victim told police that she thought Bullock was trying to kill her, the statement says.

The assaults lasted nearly 11 hours, court documents say. The victim eventually ran away after Bullock contacted one of the victim’s family members, the statement says.

Police observed injuries all over the victim’s body.
