FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office revealed on Friday night that it concluded its death investigation of a man who was shot and killed in early March.

The sheriff’s office made the announcement about the death investigation of Orion Quesenberry on its social media.  Quesenberry was killed in early March in a shooting on Route CC. He was 26.

The sheriff’s office did not say what was in the report, but it has now been sent to the Callaway County Prosecutor’s Office.

“As part of our efforts to provide clear and accurate information investigators have successfully collected several hours of video surveillance footage, extensive witness statements, forensic evidence, including DNA and blood samples,” the post reads.

The sheriff’s office previously said the shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. March 2, the new post lists March 1.

“We wish to assure the public of our dedication to conducting a thorough and fair investigation. The patience of the community has been invaluable during this process, and we are committed to continuing our work with integrity and diligence.  We ask for your patience once again as the Prosecutor's Office conducts an independent review of the evidence and makes an informed decision regarding any filings,” the post says.
