MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man was charged on Wednesday after authorities claim he was responsible for shooting at people in four separate instances.

Floyd Dudley Jr., of Mexico, Missouri, was charged with first-degree attempted assault. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Wednesday and no bond was set. A court date has not been scheduled.

According to the probable cause statement, Dudley was accused of shooting at multiple people between Tuesday and Wednesday. The first occurred around 8 p.m. when Dudley and the first victim got into an argument at a busy intersection, court documents say. The victim drove away when she heard a gunshot and a witness allegedly saw the argument and heard the shot, as well, the statement says.

Video viewed by law enforcement allegedly shows Dudley, the victim and witness in the area at the time those events occurred, court documents say.

The second shooting occurred at the home of the victim’s parents just before 10 p.m., the statement says. The second victim heard a gunshot and allegedly told law enforcement that Dudley threatened to kill him and his wife, the statement says. Police found a bullet hole in the room of the first victim, as well as a shell casing, the statement says.

About 10 minutes after that, a third victim reported that Dudley allegedly shot at him.

Early on Wednesday, Dudley allegedly fired a shot at the first victim again while she was driving down the street. The bullet went through the windshield and hit a post, court documents say. Police recovered a slug from the vehicle and saw a bullet hole in the windshield, the statement says.

Court documents say Dudley then went to the victim’s house. The victim allegedly could not get him to leave, so she hit him with w “kitchen tool” the probable cause statement says.
