Man injured in Camden County crash accused of DWI in MSHP report

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Osage Beach man who suffered moderate injuries in a crash was accused of driving while intoxicated Thursday night on Route A at Midway Road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash and arrest reports.

The crash occurred as a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica – driven by James Thacker, 39 – was heading northbound on Route A, went off the right side of the road and hit a tree, according to the crash report. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report, and was brought to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance.

According to the arrest report, he was accused of reckless driving, being a persistent offender of DWI and not having vehicle insurance.

The Chrysler was totaled, according to the crash report.
