Two injured in Camden County crash

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man suffered serious injuries and a woman had minor injuries Wednesday morning in a Camden County crash on Route A at Midway Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred after a 2009 Kia Rondo – driven by Nicole Olcott, 32, of Mountain Grove – was heading northbound and failed to yield while making a left turn, according to the crash report.

Olcott’s vehicle hit the front of a 2010 Mazda 6, driven by Matthew Rejon, 34, of Kaiser.

Olcott had minor injuries and was wearing a seatbelt. Rejon had serious injuries and was not wearing a seatbelt. Both drivers were taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance.

Both drivers’ vehicles had extensive damage, according to the crash report.
