Columbia police ‘actively searching’ for man
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia Police Department said on its social media Wednesday night that it is actively looking for a 36-year-old man.
"Columbia Police are actively searching for Brandt Feutz, 36, in connection to an active investigation. Members of the community should not approach Mr. Feutz as he is considered armed and dangerous," CPD wrote online. "Mr. Feutz has prominent tattoos on either side of his neck and around his right eye. He was last seen driving a dark gray X-Series BMW Crossover with no registration."

Ashland Police Department has also posted on social media asking the community to keep its eyes out for Feutz. Officers say Missouri State Highway Patrol pursued Feutz this week on US Highway 63 through Ashland.
Police were at two scenes Wednesday evening in south and eastern Columbia.
ABC 17 News crews at the scene of East New Haven Road say police used a drone and helicopter to search and they also saw an officer searching the tree line in the area. ABC 17 News crews also saw what looked like a dark vehicle being towed away, similar to the one in Ashland PD's social media post.
However, CPD did not say if Feutz was connected to either scene.
Feutz has previously been in the Missouri Department of Corrections, according to online records. He pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery in 2012, second-degree assault in 2005, three counts of forgery in 2006 and second-degree child molestation in 2006, according to Casenet.
Both Ashland and Columbia police say if you have any information or if you see Feutz, contact law enforcement immediately and you should not approach him as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
