COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man is facing a sexual assault charge following an investigation in June.

A Boone County prosecutor has charged Ramon Wilson with second-degree statutory sodomy after a June 9 incident at a residence on the 1900 block of Starlight Drive.

The victim told police that she was at Ballenger Liquor when Wilson allegedly offered to sell marijuana to the victim. The victim then got into Wilson’s vehicle and went to the residence.

After smoking marijuana, the victim told police that Wilson forced himself on her and allegedly forced her to give him oral sex before she could leave, according to a probable cause statement.

During the investigation, police identified Wilson after he allegedly sent the victim text messages, pictures and videos claiming he would take care of her, according to the probable cause statement.

Wilson does not have a defense attorney listed, according to online court records. Wilson is being held at the Boone County Jail on $25,000 cash-only bond.
