Fulton man charged for sex crimes against a child

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Fulton man is charged with several sex crimes involving a child after an investigation began on March 10.

According to court documents, Chad Smith would go into the bedroom of a 14-year-old female at night from Nov. 2013 to Nov. 2015 and assaulted her at least three time.

The victim told investigators that Smith had been drinking and possibly smoking marijuana.

Smith is charged with three counts of first degree child molestation and three counts of statutory sodomy.
