Columbia man arrested after more than 1,000 images of child pornography reported

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Boone County Sheriff's Department arrested a Columbia man Thursday on suspicion of two counts of possession of child pornorgrahy.

An online tip from an internet service provider reported over 1,000 images of child pornography located on an account belonging to Gary Todd, 60, the sheriff's department said in a news release.

Sheriff's department Cyber Crimes Task Force investigators and Boone County deputies seized multiple devices after serving a search warrant at Todd's residence.

Officials reported finding child sexual abuse material depicting children as young as 4 years old. The sheriff's department said this is not Todd's first child pornography offense.

Information about Todd's case was not available in online court records. He was being held without bond Thursday in the Boone County Jail.
