Columbia police investigating Thursday night robbery on Stadium Boulevard

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia police department has opened an investigation into a robbery on N. Stadium Boulevard.

A release said officers received a report of the robbery outside a residence in the 100 block of N. Stadium around 11:10 p.m.

The victim was leaving the residence when an unknown man holding a handgun approached and demanded property, police said in the release.

Officers say the victim complied with the demand. The release said no injuries were reported in the suspected robbery.

The police department said the incident is under investigation and that anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 573-874-7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573-875-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.
