Second man accused of Mexico killing arrested
MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mexico authorities say a second man accused of a June 27 killing was arrested Thursday morning.
US Marshals arrested 25-year-old Sadiq Moore in Columbia, a news release from the Mexico Public Safety Department said.
Boone County Jail records said Moore was held in jail custody without bond as of Thursday.
Three are charged with second-degree murder in the death of Chance Davis. Investigators said Davis was killed after a break-in at his home.
In August, police in Quincy, Ill. arrested Deyton Curtis-Fisher who is also accused of Davis' killing.
Columbia police and Boone County sheriff's deputies searched for the third person accused in the murder case, Timothy Midgyett, last week.
Authorities say a car associated with Midgyett was pulled over but no arrests were made.
Anyone with information on Midgyett's location is asked to call Mexico Public Safety at 573-473-5800 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 800-392-TIPS.
