Jefferson City man pleads guilty to having child pornography

MGN

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City man pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of child pornography Tuesday.

Dana Cline, 52, agreed to plead guilty to a single count of possession of child pornography after he was arrested in 2018. Prosecutors originally filed three charges against Cline.

Court documents say Cline initially pleaded not guilty to all three charges in September 2018.

As of Thursday, Cline's sentencing date was not set.

Investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said multiple picture and video files containing child porn were found on Cline's laptop, according to court documents.

Troopers and Jefferson City police officers arrested Cline at his parents' home on Ridgeway Drive in June 2018.
