Mid-Missouri DWI arrests over New Years Eve

Missouri State Highway Patrol online arrest records for Troop F show troopers arrested several people suspected of driving while intoxicated.

Troopers arrested seven people suspected of DWI between late New Year's Eve and Wednesday afternoon. A release from Troop F, which covers Mid-Missouri, shows troopers will continue increased patrols looking for impaired drivers until midnight.

The highway patrol responded to 1,301 crashes over the same time period in 2018. Troopers said there were 11 fatal crashes and 447 traffic injuries reported over the New Year's holiday counting period.
