Columbia psychologist accused of sexual abuse bonds out of jail

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Kurt Bumby, a Columbia psychologist, was released from the St. Louis County Jail after posting an $100,000 cash-only bond.

Bumby is charged two counts of statutory sodomy in Boone County and two counts of sodomy in St. Louis County. He was booked into the St. Louis County Jail on Dec. 20 and was released the same day.

Bumby was a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. The board of directors suspended his membership.
