Many schools are holding in-person proms this year after having to cancel them last year because of the coronavirus.
In Columbia, Battle and Rock Bridge high schools held in-person prom events over the weekend.
Case rates are down and vaccination rates are up, but many health experts and parents say it's still too soon to host large, in-person gatherings such as prom.
