Owner looks to redevelop properties formerly owned by Columbia College

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The new owners of properties on Eighth Street that used to belong to Columbia College are looking to redevelop them.  

Columbia College auctioned off nine properties in June for roughly $2 million.

The owners of three properties near the corner of Eight Street and Lyon Street are looking to develop the property with multi-family or single-family units. 

According to a letter submitted to the city, the first option would be a four-plex unit on each lot, while the second option involves combining all lots and building one-family attached units.
