Columbia Public Works crew to respond Saturday night for potentially slick roads
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia is preparing crews to treat roads overnight.
An eight-person crew will report for duty at 11 p.m., monitoring roads overnight and preparing to respond to any slick spots along priority routes, the city announced in a social media post.
Columbia Public Works expects the road temperatures to fall below freezing in the early morning hours. The city asks drivers to take extra precaution tomorrow morning.
ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team issued a Weather Alert Day for Monday and Tuesday for the potential of accumulating snow and road impacts.
