COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police investigated in east Columbia on Tuesday night after neighbors said someone fired a gun.

Officers were investigating in the 1700 block of McKee street before 6 p.m. At least four patrol cars responded to the scene. Officers spoke to witnesses and took photos in the area.

People living in the area told ABC 17 News they saw someone fire shots from a vehicle toward a home. The car then drove off toward Clark Lane.

Columbia police did not immediately respond to an email seeking more information.
