CPS offering webinars on the return to learn

Columbia Public Schools is offering a series of webinars as part of it's Parent-Community University starting Tuesday.

CPS plans to focus on topics related to social-emotional needs, academics, getting ready for school, and technology. Topics range from navigating Schoology, troubleshooting technology issues and question and answer sessions on activities and athletics, fine arts, practical arts and exceptional learners.

The webinars will be both live and pre-recorded at various times between Tuesday and August 6. Pre-recorded sessions are available on the district's website along with links to join the live webinars.

Tuesday's webinars include a pre-recorded session on managing stress for caregivers and their families. At 2 p.m., there will be a live session on navigating Schoology followed by a live webinar on troubleshooting technology at 4 p.m. and a question and answer session on activities and athletics at 5 p.m.
