Cole County vaccinates over 2,000 residents during event

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A mass vaccination site wrapped up in Jefferson City.

The event was held at the LINC.

According to Cole County Health Director Kristi Campbell, the health department vaccinated around 2,000 people, which was their goal.

There were some no-shows so health officials called people on their backup list who are eligible.

Leftover vaccines will be given to Capital Region Medical Center where others are waiting to get vaccinated.
