Cole County Sheriff’s Department performs Halloween sex offender check
COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
On Saturday night, the Cole County Sheriff’s Department checked on the 56 registered sex offenders that live in Cole County.
The sheriff's department has to verify the offenders were complying with Halloween Restrictions per RsMO 589.426.
According to the release, four of the 56 sex offenders did not meet the criteria of RsMO 589.426.
According to officials, deputies determined that only two individuals were actually non-compliant.
Per the release, the department will be submitting Probable Cause Statements and Warrant Applications to the Cole County Prosecutor for formal charges.
