Water back on in Keytesville after water main break; schools reopen
KEYETSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
Water has been turned back on in Keytesville, after a water main break on Wednesday caused the city to shut water off.
According to Chariton County's non-emergency line service, the water was turned back on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
All residents in Keytesville were affected, according to a Facebook post from Chariton County EMS post.
A 48-hour boil order is in place, but everything should be operating normally.
The water main break caused Keytesville School District to close school on Wednesday, but the district posted on their Facebook that schools will be open Thursday.
The district says it will provide bottled water for all students and staff.
