Camden County probable cause statement reveals details on rape and domestic assault case

Court documents reveal more information into the investigation of a Camdenton man that is charged with rape and domestic assault.

According to a Camden County Sheriff's Department release, deputies began investigating the sexual and domestic assault Monday.

In the probable cause statement, the victim told deputies that she woke up in Michael Krugman's bed and couldn't remember how she got there.

Krugman allegedly got the vicitm a xanax over the past weekend and the victim said she couldn't remeber anything after that according to court documents.

The victim said she woke up in the bed and her clothes were inside out according to the pc statement.

After confronting Krugman, the victim went to the sheriff's office and was told to go get a forensic examination according to court documents.

During the investigation, law enforcement spoke with the victim's daughter and learned that while on the phone with the victim, the daughter could hear "banging and screaming that it was huring and to get off of the victim."

According to the court documents, a detective spoke with Krugman about the incident. Krugman told the detective that "he shouldn't have had sex with the victim and that he knew giving her Xanax would make it easier to have sex with the victim."

According to the Camden County Sheriff's Department release, Krugman remains in custody on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

Krugman's next court date was today.
