More than 700 Ameren customers reported without power in Callaway County

More than 700 Ameren Missouri customers in Callaway County are without power after storms rolled through the area Friday night.

There were 759 customers without power at 10:57 p.m., mostly near the Holts Summit area.

There were also 41 Callaway Electric Cooperative users without power.

A tornado warning was issued in Callaway County around 10 p.m. and expired before 10:20 p.m.

"So, far the damage was just trees down in various areas, and some road signs down. No reports of major roadways being blocked," Michelle Kidwell, Callaway County Office of Emergency Management director, said in an email.

ABC 17 News has reached out to Ameren for comment.

Additionally in Mid-Missouri, there were 50 Boone Electric Cooperative customers without power in Boone County at its peak. The total came back down to three customers without power at 11 p.m.
