Columbia woman injured in morning crash at Highway 63 intersection

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia woman suffered serious injuries when she crashed her small SUV at a Highway 63 intersection during the morning commute.

Marilyn Brandow, 25, was driving eastbound on Minor Hill Road at Highway 63 a little after 8 a.m. when she went off the left side of the road, hit a sign and a culvert and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Her Ford Escape came to rest on its side.

Brandow was taken to University Hospital by ambulance. Her condition was fair Thursday afternoon, an MU Health Care spokesperson said.

She was not wearing a seat belt, the crash report says.
