Boone County Fire Protection District crews fight fire in woods north of Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to a report of someone starting a small brush fire off of Sycamore Hills road in Boone County Wednesday night.
When crews arrived a house was fully engulfed in flames. The house had previously been on fire.
Officials say law enforcement detained a person on scene.
Officials say they are going to let the fire burn out overnight.
No one was in the house at the time of the fire.
An ambulance and two fire trucks were spotted on the scene.
