QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you like the idea of wind turbines in Boone County?

The Boone County Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended regulations for wind turbines to the county commission.

The regulations are being considered as a renewable energy company plans to build a wind farm in Howard and Boone counties. A final decision on the regulations, which would allow turbines to be installed, is up to the commission.

Some county residents are opposed to the turbines, citing noise and other issues. What do you think? Vote in the poll below.
