Hallsville man accused of sex crimes against Columbia woman

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boone County probable case statement reveals information on a sexual assault from April of this year.

According to court documents, Andrew Neal is accused of offering to buy nude photographs from the victim and then allegedly blackmailed the victim into giving Neal more photographs.

Neal is accused of stalking and harassing the victim beginning in May 2018 according to court documents.

The victim told police that after the victim changed her information, Neal still found the victim and allegedly coerced the victim into sex with him according to the PC statement.

In December 2019, the victim says Neal raped her according to court documents.

According to jail records, Neal is charged with rape, harassment, sodomy and stalking.

Neal is in the Boone County Jail with $100,000 cash only bond.

Neal's next hearing is set for Nov. 18.
