MILLERSBURG, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Millersburg exit ramp from Interstate 70 eastbound was closed Wednesday afternoon after a crash and police pursuit.

Boone County emergency dispatchers issued a public alert about the crash at about 3:20 p.m.

Boone County Fire Protection District, Columbia Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol units were at the scene.

Boone County Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Gale Blomenkamp said two people were involved in the crash but weren't hurt. He directed other questions to the Columbia Police Department.

A CPD spokesman did not respond to calls and emails seeking more information.

Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism said deputies were also there after getting a call from CPD for help with a pursuit that ended at the exit.
