More than 1500 customers in Columbia without power

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

1535 customers are without power in Columbia Thursday morning as storms roll through Mid-Missouri.

The City of Columbia outage map shows two incidents affecting customers. The main outage affecting the most customers is reported near N. Fairview Road. The second is south near Chapel Hill Road.

The Boone Electric Cooperative outage map shows 503 customers without power due to 11 outages at 6:40 a.m., a decrease from 747 customers without power at 5:45 a.m. in Boone County.

A majority of customers without power are south of Columbia near Deer Park. Other areas with reported power outages include Hallsville off Route V, Woodlandville, west of Sturgeon and Ashland.

The Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives reports 227 customers without power in Gasconade County and 140 in Montgomery County. 135 customers are without power in Benton County as of 6:40 a.m.

Counties like Audrain, Benton, Camden, Cooper, Moniteau and more are reporting 75 outages or fewer per county.
