We're in for a celestial spectacle Thursday night.

Mid-Missouri will see a total lunar eclipse, which happens when the Earth is directly between the sun and the moon.

Lunar eclipses are a fairly common astronomical phenomenon. But that doesn't mean everyone has seen one.
